Food writers, publishers, policy makers, and White House chef share bites

Phew! The IACP New York Regional Conference is over!  As media sponsors, we were running around like mad capturing tidbits from speakers from the conference’s four tracks: Communicating in an Electronic and Digital Age, The Foods of New York, School Food, and Farm to Table: Urban and Rural Foodways.

We kicked the conference off by hosting a Speaker’s Brunch, where we got to meet lots of great folks, and interview them in our brand spanking new space.  Have we told you that this month we’re opening up a four kitchen studio for food media shoots? The space will be used for rentals, as well as to shoot our own eatTV content, such as cooking demos and interviews, IACP and otherwise.

IACP Speakers Brunch interview

Over the weekend, we interviewed everyone from food writers (Dorie Greenspan, David Joachim, David Leite and Virginia Willis) to publishers (Fine Cooking’s Laurie Buckle and Saveur’s Gabrielle Gershenson), policy people (Marion Nestle, Greenmarket’s Michael Hurvitz) and White House Chef and Senior Policy Advisor, Sam Kass.

They had wake up calls for food writers, social media tips, and food policy advice.

While we’re busy editing all of this food talk together, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook to keep up with video releases on Food Apps, Social Media, 21st Century Food Writing, Good Meat, School Foods and Food Policy, all from the IACP conference.
